Wall Street contractor seeks cover for after-death losses

By Angela Childers (Sep 17, 2021, 6:55 p.m. EDT) – The general contractor who works on the One Wall Street development in Lower Manhattan asked a New York State court on Friday for an order stating that his insurer owes coverage for operating losses after the death of an employee.

JT Magen filed its lawsuit just two days after notifying Starr Indemnity & Liability Co. that it was seeking coverage under its all-risk policy, and just under a year after the incident to meet the policy’s one-year statute of limitations.
