Real estate company Clayco breaks ground on industrial development in Mesa

PHOENIX – Real estate development and construction company Clayco this week broke ground on a four-building flex industrial development in Mesa.

Power Industrial, located in the Pecos Advanced Manufacturing Zone at the southeast corner of Pecos and Power streets, is scheduled to complete construction by March 2023, according to a press release.

“Mesa continues to receive inquiries from companies looking for exactly these types of building products,” Mesa Mayor John Giles said in a statement.

“Power Industrial will be a great addition to the high quality industrial product in the neighborhood and we appreciate Newport Commercial and Clayco’s continued partnership and investment in the City of Mesa.”

The single-story development offers potential tenants 583,955 leasable square meters of industrial space. It will have access to water, natural gas, fiber optics and the Salt River project’s 69 kV transmission.

“The investment and jobs that will bring to Clayco, with its 583,955 square feet of industrial space for rent, will be a tremendous asset to this already active area,” District 6 Councilman Kevin Thompson said in a statement. “This is exactly what we have been striving for. Power Industrial will be a great addition to the Gateway area, our citizens and the region.”

Clayco is working with Newport Commercial, Principal and Manncor Realty Advisors on the project.
