Environmental engineering and construction company Brown and Caldwell recently announced that Suad Cisic has joined the company as Managing Director of Client Services. The company says the hire supports its strategy to increase its share of the Los Angeles water and wastewater market.
Cisic is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of engineering and construction consulting experience and a proven track record of positioning, capturing and delivering highly technical projects and programs. Throughout his career he has led the strategic growth of new geographies, markets and client relationships both domestically and internationally. Notable projects include major upgrades of water and wastewater treatment plants, design and construction of large pumping stations and water transfer systems, and implementation of water reclamation and reuse.
Brown and Caldwell have a long history of providing environmental projects to LA communities. Cisic will build on this foundation, working with municipal and private clients to align the company’s engineered solutions to help address complex challenges related to water scarcity, aging infrastructure and reliance on imported water supplies.
“I am pleased to welcome a respected leader in Suad to our growing LA business,” said Dan Bunce, senior vice president of Brown and Caldwell. “His experience, technical knowledge and results-oriented approach will greatly benefit our clients as they make investments and secure LA’s water future.”
Cisic is a California licensed professional engineer and holds a Masters in Civil Engineering from the University of Zagreb (Croatia), a Diploma in Sanitary Engineering from the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education (Holland) and a Certificate in Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators from the Fondation de L’eau (France).
