Clayco, a full-service turnkey real estate, architecture, engineering, design and construction company headquartered in Chicago, announced today that the company has opened an office in Phoenix, Arizona as part of its westward expansion. The new office is located at 2398 E. Camelback Road in the Biltmore area. Clayco’s expansion in Arizona is led by Executive Vice President Anthony Johnson along with a core leadership team made up of Kim Poole as Vice President of Economic Development, Bryan Zehnder as Vice President of Operations and Lindsay Johnson as Project Executive. The transaction marks Clayco’s second market expansion in three months of Clayco’s opening los Angeles back in May.

With sales expected to exceed $ 4.5 billion in 2021, Clayco specializes in the arts and sciences, providing fast and efficient solutions for industrial, commercial, institutional and residential projects. Clayco has more than $ 300 million in active construction projects in the Phoenix market and has completed over 3.3 million square feet of corporate, industrial, manufacturing, sales and e-commerce facilities in the Phoenix area.
In May, Clayco hired industry veteran Kim Poole. A accomplished construction executive and a certified ambassador to the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, Kim is responsible for leading Clayco’s industrial, mission critical, manufacturing, and multi-family home development efforts in Phoenix and the surrounding Southwest region.

Clayco veteran Bryan Zehnder has moved to Phoenix to oversee excellence in the implementation of Clayco projects. With Bryan involved in some of Clayco’s most complex projects over the course of his career, Bryan will also help recruit, train, and mentor new teammates as they learn about Clayco’s culture and integrated delivery model
Other key new hires include project manager Lindsay Johnson, who will lead residential unit initiatives in the area, and project development director Ryan Hankins, who will drive construction work across Clayco’s various businesses.
