Luton Town have unveiled their new home kit for the 2022-23 season, while being worn for the first time in this afternoon’s pre-season friendly against West Ham United.
In a statement on the club’s website, the retro stripe reads: “Developed alongside club kit supplier Umbro, Luton has gone back in time to take inspiration from the much-revered 1989/90 kit to bring a new, unique design to life.
“This season’s home kit features a diagonal design with Utilita front and center as the main sponsor, complemented by navy shorts and orange socks to complete the stunning new look.”
The shirts cost £55 in men’s and women’s sizes for adults and £29 for juniors.
Diamond Season Card holders will continue to enjoy 50% off a jersey (redeemable at the Park Street store or Stadium Shop) and can now collect their voucher at any time at the ticket office.
Season ticket holders also receive a 10 percent discount on shop products.
Yesterday, the Hatters confirmed they are extending their partnership with Utilita Energy, ensuring they will feature on the front of the first-team and retail home shirts, and the back of the away and third kits.
Chris Bell, Commercial Director of Town, said: “I am delighted to extend this partnership.
“We have worked closely with the Utilita team over the past few seasons to support their fantastic community efforts.
“We will continue to build on this relationship at a very exciting time for Luton Town Football Club.
“Together we will promote Utilita’s messages of education and energy savings while providing unforgettable experiences for our community and supporters.”
Jem Maidment, Utilita Chief Marketing Officer, added, “We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Luton and look forward to building on what we have already achieved together.
“The past season has been incredible for the club and has captured the attention of the football world.
“Although the season ended in play-off heartbreak, it was nothing short of an exceptional season.
“We will support the club to build on that in the next term and are committed to promotion to the Premier League.
“We pride ourselves on supporting clubs across the UK that share the same aspirations and values as ourselves and Luton fits that profile perfectly.”
Finally, Town have also announced Toureen Group as Back of the Home Kit sponsor from the start of the 2022-23 season as part of a three-year deal.
The Harrow based company is an award winning construction company established 30 years ago with a strong presence in Luton delivering quality projects nationwide specializing in design and construction projects, reinforced concrete framing, earthworks, demolition, basement construction and various retail projects.
Bell said: “Having met Toureen’s founder, Denis Nolan, and heard about their plans for the future, it was clear that LTFC and Toureen Group share the same family values and an ambitious mindset.
“Toureen Group has a large workforce in and around Luton and we look forward to wearing their logo proudly on our home jerseys and welcoming them to our ever-growing family of partners and sponsors.
“We look forward to helping this relationship grow and develop in the years to come.”
Toureen Group Chairman Denis Nolan added: “We are huge supporters of Luton Town at Toureen so when the opportunity arose to sponsor the home shirt we jumped at the chance.
“Luton Town and Toureen share the same values and passion for success.
“We look forward to seeing and supporting the team and wish them all the best for the upcoming season!”
