Montroy DeMarco Architecture LLP (MDA) is looking for a Junior Job Captain with an understanding and background in technical drawing and design. You have 1 – 3 years of professional experience in an architecture office. Knowledge of plans, construction drawings, CAD standards and the ability to adapt standards to multiple projects. Convenient changing of existing plans and working with drawing redlines. Retains the required documentation of all created projects and drawings. The ideal candidate has graphic talent and strong AutoCAD skills; Revit and sketch-up experience is an advantage. He or she is focused and results-oriented, has strong time management and organizational skills, has interpersonal and communication skills, and can interact effectively with people. You have to excel under pressure and be able to meet project deadlines. The duties of the Junior Job Captain include:

– Close cooperation with senior architects, designers and project
– Creation of technical drawings for use in construction plans for
different trades
– Support in project development from start to finish
– Support in the creation of graphic presentations
– Site inspection and development of existing conditions
– Attend construction meetings and document proposed changes
– Coordination with the customer, the design team, the consultants and the suppliers,
as needed
– Ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards and customers

Qualified applicants must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited architecture degree, multitasking ability, simultaneous project management, independent and team-oriented work, a high level of attention to detail, adaptability to different tasks, a strong work ethic and an effective communicator.
