Extracker, the platform that standardizes change orders between multiple project management and enterprise resource planning (ERP) products used by general contractors and subcontractors, today announced an integration with Sage 100 Contractor used by small to medium sized construction companies.

“A key part of streamlining the manual and time-consuming change order process is eliminating manual workflows and aligning subcontractors with their prime contractors to know what’s pending,” said Cameron Page, founder and CEO of Extracker. “With this integration, Extracker provides instant visibility into change order costs and exposed risks from the field service through to the back office and accounting teams using Sage 100.”

Extracker, launched in 2018, enables contractors to seamlessly share a change order register and time and material tags in real time with their project partners along the value chain. Although the format for exchanging data is not proprietary to Extracker, the software provides a common digital utility and sharable links that deliver a single version of the truth to the widely dispersed, cross-enterprise project team.

Behind the integration is Ryvit’s Integration Platform-as-a-Service (iPaaS), which helps solution providers and project stakeholders get more out of their tech stacks so they can produce more efficiently, securely, profitably and imaginatively than ever before. By leveraging Ryvit’s iPaaS to build a robust integration footprint around core tools, solution providers can bring integrations to market faster. These integrations can then make it easier and more effective to work with other construction software products on the Ryvit iPaaS.

This integration allows subcontractors to create and sync change order data created in Extracker directly to Sage 100 Contractor, which was sold as a Master Builder before it was acquired by Sage in 2006. Sage 100 Contractor is most commonly sold as a cloud-hosted solution and primarily to contractors under $20 million in revenue, making it the Sage solution for smaller businesses.

Sage 100 Contractor has broad functionality from general ledger to payroll, project management, equipment management, estimates, scheduling, service demands, inventory and reporting.
