An East Anglian construction company has been awarded a re-appointment as a contractor worth up to £7.5m, which it will use to undertake projects across Norfolk.
Clegg Construction, which has an office in Lakenheath, has signed an agreement with Scape to deliver projects through its Regional Construction Framework (RCF).
Under the agreement, the company will be able to contract out public sector leaders and local authorities to carry out work such as renovations, minor works, extensions and repairs to buildings.
It is one of two construction companies to have received the Norfolk designation.
The deal also includes Suffolk.
When work begins on projects under the RCF deal, a Clegg Construction spokeswoman said it will seek out subcontractors in Norfolk for local jobs and will use local supply chains wherever possible.
Ross Crowcroft, Pre-Construction Director at Clegg Construction, said: “On behalf of the Clegg Construction team, we are delighted to have been selected once again as a partner for Scape’s Regional Construction Framework.
“The redefined value range of up to £7.5m is very exciting as it gives Clegg additional opportunities to deliver high quality, sustainable design, build and refurbishment plans in partnership with new and existing clients across the East of England from our dedicated regional office.”
The agreement with Scape begins on August 26, 2022 and has a term of four years.
Clegg Construction employs six full-time staff at its Lakenheath office and is currently recruiting two more.
The company was founded in the 1930’s and has offices in East Anglia and the Midlands.
