Three construction workers died while one was seriously injured in lightning in Rai Mal Majra village, Bhadson block, district. The injured worker is being treated at Government Rajindra Hospital. The incident occurred at 10:30 a.m. The deceased were identified as Gurpreet Singh, Laal Singh, and Gulzar Singh.

It became known that workers were working in a brick factory in Rai Mal Majri village when they were struck by lightning. Harwinder Singh, the owner of the brick kiln, said he took the injured to Bhadson Health Center after the incident. “It is a very shocking incident. I’m trying my best to help the injured, ”said the owner.

Sukhdev Singh, station house officer, Bhadson, said the autopsy would be done and the bodies would be turned over to family members. Raj Kumar, President of the Democratic MGNREGA Front, said the government should pay compensation to the deceased’s family members. The government should also ensure that the injured worker is adequately treated.

Congress MLA by Nabha Sadhu Singh Dharmsot said: “All the deceased belonged to poor families. I will personally ask the state government to provide compensation at the earliest. “
